Sie gilt vom 4. M\u00e4rz 2024 bis zum 4. M\u00e4rz 2025. Dieses Regime trat am 4. M\u00e4rz 2022 in Kraft, wenige Tage nachdem die russischen Streitkr\u00e4fte eine umfassende Invasion ukrainischen Territoriums gestartet hatten, und wurde automatisch um ein Jahr verl\u00e4ngert. Dabei geht es darum, Vertriebenen, die nicht in ihr Herkunftsland zur\u00fcckkehren k\u00f6nnen, sofortigen kollektiven Schutz zu gew\u00e4hren und ihnen in allen EU-Mitgliedstaaten den Genuss harmonisierter Rechte zu erm\u00f6glichen. Diese Rechte reichen von der M\u00f6glichkeit eines langfristigen Aufenthalts und Zugang zum Arbeits- und Wohnungsmarkt bis hin zu Gesundheitsversorgung, Sozialhilfe und garantierter Bildung f\u00fcr Kinder. Der amtierende spanische Innenminister Fernando Grande-Marlaska betonte die Bedeutung der neuen Ma\u00dfnahme: \u201eDie EU wird das ukrainische Volk so lange unterst\u00fctzen, wie es n\u00f6tig ist.\u201c Die Verl\u00e4ngerung des Schutzstatus gibt mehr als 4 Millionen Fl\u00fcchtlingen, die hier Zuflucht gefunden haben, Zuversicht&#8230; Wir haben Zeit, die Situation zu untersuchen und die richtige Form des Schutzes f\u00fcr ukrainische B\u00fcrger zu entwickeln. Wir hoffen jedoch, dass keine weitere Unterst\u00fctzung erforderlich ist, sich die Situation nicht verschlimmert und alle so schnell wie m\u00f6glich in ihr Land zur\u00fcckkehren und in Frieden und Sicherheit leben k\u00f6nnen.\u201c Im Moment sprechen wir nur von einer politischen Einigung: Der Europarat muss der Entscheidung zur Verl\u00e4ngerung des vor\u00fcbergehenden Schutzes noch offiziell zustimmen.
