Despite the pandemic, Valencia continues to be one of the major Spanish capitals where investors have their eye. According to a study, the average price in 2020 stood at 2,241 euros/m2, and international demand continues to rise despite the pandemic.

Although seven out of ten buyers are Spanish, a third are foreigners, with German, French and Dutch buyers leading the way. Of particular note is the atypical distribution in El Cabañal, where 83% of buyers are foreign.

Ciutat Vella, Eixample and Extramurs repeat as the most demanded and top districts in 2020, with Extramurs registering the highest price increase.

Calle Navarro Reverter, in the Gran Vía district, whose price of some transactions is close to 4,000 euros/m2 and Plaza de la Legión Española, in Pla del Real, are the most expensive streets.

The Poblats Marítims district also stands out. Although the variation in prices fluctuates depending on the area, traditional houses or dwelling in Calle de la Reina are still of interest, as is Calle Tramoyeres.

One of the most economically valuable transactions of 2020 was brokered in this street, with a price of close to 6,000 euros/m2 being paid for the purchase and sale of a really unique product.

The Mascarat area in Calpe is the most expensive on the Costa Blanca, with a price that reaches 3,829 euros/m2, followed by Playa de San Juan in Alicante (3,225 euros/m2) and Balcón al mar, Costa Nova and Portixol in Jávea. Moraira stands out, where the three most expensive roads on the Costa Blanca are also concentrated.

In Alicante city, the most sought-after areas continue to be the seafront ones of the city centre, Cabo de las Huertas and Playa San Juan. The latter two have an average price of over 3,000 euros/m2, surpassed by the Mascarat area of Calpe.
In Benidorm, which remains among the most sought-after locations, the purchase of second-hand detached single-family homes that do not require refurbishment or new-build properties with land and their own swimming pool stands out, with prices ranging between 300,000 and 700,000 euros.

Peñíscola, Alcossebre, Benicassim and the city of Castellón have cheaper average prices than other areas such as Jávea or Moraira. The three most expensive streets on the Costa Blanca are in Teulada Moreira, led by El Portet, with a price of 5,090 euros/m2. The second is Punta Estrella (4,978 euros/m2) and San Jaime (4,782 euros/m2) the third. The fourth position is occupied by Calalga Street in Calpe (4,750 euros/m2).
