And while rates are still far from being the best, the past summer has shown a positive trend. During this time, more than half of real estate agencies have retained the same house prices in Spain, and about a third have reduced them by 5-10%. At the same time, the cost of residential real estate in <a href=\"https:\/\/alegria-realestate.com\/en\/sale\/new-buildings\">new buildings<\/a> remained unchanged, and its sales were carried out under construction, mostly.<\/p>\n<p>Under the circumstances, properties located on the Costa Blanca are in great demand, this place is preferred by foreigners, mainly citizens of the <a href=\"https:\/\/alegria-realestate.com\/en\/articles\/life-in-spain\/british-community-in-spain\">UK<\/a> and Scandinavian countries, in case of a new quarantine in Spain. Potential buyers are interested in apartments with a spacious terrace in a residential gated complexes with green areas or detached houses located at a distance from the city center, but with all the necessary infrastructure within walking distance.<\/p>\n<p>Another recent trend is the construction of new facilities for the purpose of subsequent leasing, rather than selling. This is not just about the so-called touristic property for short-term rentals during the holidays, but also designed for a long-term stay.
