In Alicante<\/a>, the hotel sector is enduring the impact of the health and economic crisis with, for the time being, five projects for new establishments. In fact, it will have the support of some of the large chains in the sector, such as NH, Eurostars and One Shot Hotels.<\/p>\n

Moreover, most of them will be located in central locations, making it easier to get to El Postiguet beach or theAvenida Maisonnave(the cultural and commercial epicentre).<\/p>\n

The most developed of all these initiatives is located precisely next to the town council building, where a local construction company is promoting the restoration of an attached property in order to transform it into a luxury establishment with 50 rooms.<\/p>\n

The second of the projects already started, which will be located in another central location, in Calle Cervantes, is converting an old hotel into an establishment of the DormirDCine group. For the moment, the reopening is planned for March 2021, since a complete transformation of the property is currently underway in order to increase the number of rooms to 57.<\/p>\n

The third project is a four-star boutique hotel with 21 rooms, which has already received the building permit’s green light. It is also promoted by the Vista fund in Alberola Romero street, in another pre-existing building located about two hundred metres from the town council.<\/p>\n

The Baraka group projects the fourth proposal in the former Ideal cinema building, located in Avenida de la Constituci\u00f3n, also in the centre. In addition, the initiative of the group headed by the businessman Trinitario Casanova, includes the construction of a four-star hotel with 60 rooms. The Baraka group has also reached an agreement with NH to take over its operation.<\/p>\n

Finally, the fifth project is the one that the hotel chain One Shot Hotels wishes to develop in another property located at the crossroads between Calle Gerona and Avenida de la Rambla. This project will be an establishment for wealthy clients whose number of rooms is still unknown.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
