Intensive therapy, including neonatal care.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To obtain free health care, a pregnant person who is not a Spanish resident must go to the nearest Health Centre and apply for it. The Health Center will give her all needed documents to control her pregnancy and childbirth at the appropriate doctors.<\/p>\n<p>It should also be remembered that a child born in Spain does not automatically receive citizenship of this country, but if there are certain circumstances, it can be requested.<\/p>\n<p>A list of countries whose residents can apply for Spanish citizenship for their children born in Spain, and get it in a simplified form (not automatically!):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Argentina<\/li>\n<li>Colombia<\/li>\n<li>Costa Rica<\/li>\n<li>Chile<\/li>\n<li>Ecuador<\/li>\n<li>Guinea (Guinea-Bissau)<\/li>\n<li>Morocco<\/li>\n<li>Palestine<\/li>\n<li>Per\u00fa<\/li>\n<li>Sahara<\/li>\n<li>Switzerland<\/li>\n<li>Sao Tome and Principe<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>But as a whole, according to article 17 of the Civil Code, those children who were born of a Spanish father or mother are Spaniards of origin.
