Tenerife is the largest of the seven Canary Islands washed by the waters of the Atlantic Ocean. On an area of 2,034.38 km2, there is a population of about 960 thousand people, which is slightly less than half of the total number of inhabitants throughout the entire archipelago; this island is the most densely populated in Spain.<\/p>\n

Tenerife is conveniently located in the center in relation to the remaining islands of the archipelago and, along with the three neighboring islands of La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro, belongs to the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, which has an administrative center in the city of the same name.

The best months for recreation are September, August and October, when a good warm weather from +26.5\u00b0C to +27.8\u00b0C prevails. There are just few rainy days in Tenerife at this time of year, no more than 2 days a month. The waters of the Atlantic Ocean warms up in the season from +23.2 \u00b0C to +24.5 \u00b0C, and splashing on its waves is a real pleasure!<\/p>\n

The 5th reason to move to Tenerife: No Diseases and Allergies<\/h2>\n

Another plus of the gracious sea climate: children of Tenerife barely do not get sick with seasonal colds. Tenerife has a well-developed public transport system. In just an hour you can get from south to north of the island, so you can do a lot in one day. The most convenient way to move is to use a comfortable bus that is called here \u00abguagua\u00bb. A travel document (ticket) for a single trip will cost 1.45 euros, or you can purchase a special card \u2013 Tenmas for 2 euros, which can be deposited with the required amount to travel at a discount all over the island. You can also use the city tram, the route of which runs through the city center.<\/p>\n

Tourists have the opportunity to rent any type of car – from a compact hatchback to an impressive off-road car at numerous rental points. It is worth noting that the roads here are perfect and you can easy get any point by any car you prefer.<\/p>\n
