Un parking souterrain y sera construit, au-dessus duquel, sur une superficie de 9000 m\u00b2, se trouvera un espace de d\u00e9tente et de loisirs avec cin\u00e9mas, bowling et restaurants. Dans le m\u00eame temps, le projet ne pr\u00e9voit pas la pr\u00e9servation de la bourse aux poissons construite dans les ann\u00e9es 50. Cependant, les exigences de la Limitation de l&#39;Utilisation des Zones Portuaires (DEUP), adopt\u00e9es en 2018, imposent sa pr\u00e9servation et sa r\u00e9habilitation. Si une initiative entrepreneuriale de construction d&#39;un centre de divertissement est approuv\u00e9e, les autorit\u00e9s devront proposer un emplacement alternatif pour la bourse aux poissons dans la zone adjacente \u00e0 l&#39;usine de glace et au quai, qui abrite aujourd&#39;hui un mus\u00e9e flottant et un quai de p\u00eache. Les autorit\u00e9s locales ne classent pas les b\u00e2timents de la bourse aux poissons comme objets de valeur culturelle, alors qu&#39;en DEUP ils sont consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme tels. De plus, Torrevieja gagne annuellement de 4 \u00e0 6 millions d&#39;euros gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la vente de poissons gras (bleus). Actuellement, le projet de construction d&#39;un centre de divertissement dans le port de Torrevieja est au stade initial d&#39;examen, il est donc trop t\u00f4t pour tirer des conclusions
