De autonome regio Madrid heeft volgens de vijf grootste internationale ratingbureaus de hoogst mogelijke kredietrating voor Spaanse autonome regio\u2019s bereikt: Standard & Poor\u2019s, Moody\u2019s, Fitch, DBRS en Scope. Scope Ratings was de laatste die de rating verhoogde, naar A+ met een stabiele outlook<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

De rating wordt begrensd door de kredietrating van Spanje: een autonome regio kan niet hoger worden beoordeeld dan de staat.<\/p>\n

De beoordeling van Scope<\/h2>\n

Scope gaf Madrids zelfstandige kredietprofiel 84 punten van de 100, hoger dan dat van andere autonome regio\u2019s. Het bureau noemde de welvarende en gediversifieerde economie, de gevestigde toegang tot kapitaalmarkten, het gunstige schuldprofiel, de ruime liquiditeitsbuffer en de solide overheidsfinanci\u00ebn als sterke punten.<\/p>\n

Volgens Scope blijft de schuld van Madrid dalen en ligt die onder het gemiddelde van de autonome regio\u2019s. Het bureau prees ook de bestuurlijke capaciteit van de regio en de traditie van prudent financieel beheer.<\/p>\n

Economie en werkgelegenheid<\/h2>\n

In 2024 lag het bbp per inwoner in Madrid 37% boven het Spaanse gemiddelde. Eind 2025 bedroeg het werkloosheidspercentage 7%. Scope wees ook op de bevolkingsgroei en de dynamiek op de arbeidsmarkt als factoren die het sociale profiel van de regio ondersteunen.<\/p>\n
