Het totale bedrag aan verstrekte fondsen aan leners bedroeg \u20ac 4,56 miljard, een stijging van 70,1% ten opzichte van vorig jaar. De gemiddelde jaarlijkse rente op hypotheken bedraagt 2,48% (2,7% voor vaste en 2,11% voor variabele) en hoewel het absolute minimum nog niet is bereikt, daalt deze sinds begin dit jaar. Veel banken bieden hun klanten steeds gunstigere voorwaarden en spelen daarmee in op de gestage toename van het aantal koop- en verkooptransacties op de Spaanse vastgoedmarkt. Het grootste aantal hypotheken werd verstrekt in Andalusi\u00eb (6.589), de autonome regio Madrid (5.818) en Cataloni\u00eb (5.372). Dezezelfde autonome regio&#39;s staan ook bovenaan wat betreft het totale bedrag aan leningen: 1,18 miljard euro in Madrid, 864 miljoen in Cataloni\u00eb en 793 miljoen in
