Gemiddeld vonden hier 19,1 verkooptransacties per duizend inwoners plaats, wat, net als in de aangrenzende provincies <a href=\"https:\/\/alegria-realestate.com\/ru\/articles\/news\/valencia-is-the-best-city-in-the-world-for-a-healthy-lifestyle-in-2021\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Valencia<\/a> en Castell\u00f3n, hoger ligt dan het Spaanse gemiddelde. Als we transacties met alle soorten onroerend goed in aanmerking nemen, staat Alicante in dit geval op de tweede plaats, na Malaga. Deze vraag naar appartementen en huizen in de provincie Alicante wordt voornamelijk verklaard door de ruime keuze aan aanbiedingen in gebieden met een ontwikkelde infrastructuur tegen betaalbare prijzen dan in nieuwbouw. Als gevolg hiervan geven veel kopers de voorkeur aan secundaire woningen, die vaak gerenoveerd zijn, in plaats van te verhuizen naar nieuwe, nog niet onvoldoende bewoonde en ontwikkelde gebieden. Dit geldt ook voor buitenlandse investeerders, van wie het aandeel in de provincie Alicante in 2021 steeg tot 34,35% (drie keer meer dan in heel Spanje) en in de hele regio Valencia tot 20,8% (twee keer zoveel als het jaar ervoor). De meeste huizen worden hier gekocht door inwoners van het Verenigd Koninkrijk, Belgi\u00eb, Zweden, Frankrijk en Duitsland. De huizenprijzen in de regio Valencia stegen vorig jaar met 4,48% (het nationale gemiddelde is 3,87%).
