In dit opzicht staat de Spaanse hoofdstad alleen op de tweede plaats, na Londen. Het rapport, dat een enqu\u00eate omvatte onder 51 investeerders met een totaal kapitaal van \u20ac 67 miljard, schat dat de residenti\u00eble investeringen de komende vijf jaar met \u20ac 23 miljard zullen toenemen op het continent, waarbij Madrid een van de toonaangevende steden wordt voor huurwoningen en studentenhuisvesting. Bovendien zijn de ondervraagde investeerders van mening dat Madrid zeer interessant is voor investeringen in seniorenwoningen, met een vierde plaats in Europa in deze categorie.
