De nieuwe regels introduceren dubbele gebruikersidentificatie bij online bankieren en online betalingen. Hoewel de richtlijn op 14 september 2019 in werking trad, heeft de Spaanse centrale bank aangekondigd dat de termijn waarbinnen alle banken in het land hun systemen aan de nieuwe eisen moeten aanpassen, wordt verlengd tot 9-18 maanden (tot maart 2021). Er wordt een extra stap toegevoegd: de gebruiker moet een code invoeren die hij via sms naar het geregistreerde telefoonnummer heeft ontvangen, of zijn identiteit bevestigen door een melding te accepteren die beschikbaar is via de mobiele applicatie van de bank. Volgens informatie van bevoegde bronnen kiezen de meeste banken voor de eerste methode: sms. Banken zoals Cajamar, ING, N26 en Targobank kiezen daarentegen voor de tweede methode: via de mobiele applicatie.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p> Op zoek naar onroerend goed in Spanje? Gelukkig hoeft u deze procedure niet elke keer te doorlopen om uw saldo te controleren. In dat geval moet men kiezen uit twee van de drie mogelijke opties: pincode of wachtwoord; de mobiele telefoon van de gebruiker, waarop hij de code ontvangt; of identificatie door middel van vingerafdrukken of iris. Bij overschrijding van een bepaald bedrag of aantal transacties kunnen de vereisten worden gewijzigd.<\/p>\n<h2> Voordelen voor klanten<\/h2>\n<p> Meer veiligheid; recht op terugbetaling; afschaffing van kaartbetalingskosten; vermindering van tussenpersonen bij online aankopen, enz.
