4 June. Concert by the ensemble “Opus One”

A concert by “Opus One”, a modern orchestra of 12 virtuosos who perform the full version of the album “Tubular Bells” with precision and feeling, will take place at the Principal Theatre of Alicante. The album, recorded more than half a century ago by 19-year-old English musician Mike Oldfield, was a huge success and sold millions of copies. “Opus One” builds a bridge between memories of the 70s and the sensitivity of the 21st century, immersing the audience in a timeless journey.

4–7 June. Ninot Hogueras de Alicante 2026 exhibition

Until 14 June, the Sala de Exposiciones Lonja del Pescado is hosting an exhibition of the brightest figures from this year’s Hogueras festival. It presents 92 adult “ninot” figures, the same number of children’s figures and around twenty others of different types. Visitors will be able to vote for their favorite figure: the one that receives the most votes will be pardoned, will avoid being burned and will take its place in the museum.

4–7 June. Trip to Tabarca Island

Every day from the port of Torrevieja, Santa Pola or Alicante, you can take a boat to Tabarca Island – the largest and only inhabited island in the Valencian Community. Travelers will be able to enjoy underwater views, discover rich marine biodiversity, taste dishes in local restaurants and visit historical monuments. The boat is designed for 250 passengers, including people with disabilities and pets; you can bring food and drinks with you.

5 June. Gastronomic celebration “Torrevieja y el Mar 2026”

The Association of Hotel and Restaurant Businesses of Torrevieja and the surrounding area (AEHTC) has officially presented the new edition of the gastronomic celebration “Torrevieja y el Mar 2026” – an initiative that highlights the importance of Mediterranean cuisine, maritime traditions and local products as driving forces of tourism and the city’s economy. After the success of the previous event, the gastronomic days will once again take place in June on Fridays with the participation of four partner restaurants:

  • 5 June: “Las Villas” restaurant
  • 12 June: “Luna Creciente” gastrobar
  • 19 June: “Luz de Mar” restaurant
  • 26 June: “La Mar de Bien” restaurant.

Menu price – 70 euros per person.

5 June. Friday market in Torrevieja

Every Friday, the Torrevieja street market operates in Parque Antonio Soria – one of the largest small-business centers in the Vega Baja region. On an area of 82,000 sq.m., there are up to 700 stalls and sales points with food, clothing, footwear, accessories and other goods at affordable prices compared with large supermarket chains. The Torrevieja market has many conveniences – such as free parking, public toilets and a taxi rank. Every 20 minutes from 8:00 to 14:00, a bus departs that is accessible for people with reduced mobility or wheelchair users.

From Friday to Sunday, starting at 19:30, an amusement and games park for all ages is open here.

5–7 June. Quirós circus tour

Until 21 June, the Quirós circus, whose history dates back more than 100 years, will be on tour in Torrevieja next to the Habaneras shopping center. The circus arrives with a new program, “Tributo a las Guerreras K-Pop”, which includes performances by acrobats, equilibrists, motorcyclists, magicians and other artists. The performances will take place in an air-conditioned venue, ensuring the comfort of spectators and allowing them to enjoy the show in a pleasant atmosphere regardless of weather conditions.

6 June. Concert by “Billy Boom Band”

A concert by “Billy Boom Band”, a group that has radically changed the idea of children’s music, will take place at the ADDA Concert Hall in Alicante. This is a rock project for children that adults will also enjoy. It includes an educational component whose goal is to increase understanding and enjoyment of rock music as a form of artistic and cultural expression.

6 June. Concert in honor of ABBA

At the Archaeological Museum of Alicante (MARQ), pianist Cristina Cámara will perform as part of the “Candlelight” concert series, dedicated to ABBA. She will perform the following world-famous hits of the Swedish quartet: Dancing Queen, SOS, Money, Money, Money, The Winner Takes it all, Voulez-Vous, Angeleyes, Waterloo, Fernando, Knowing me, knowing you, Chiquitita, Lay all your love on me, Super Trouper, Mamma Mia.

6 June. Performance “Panorama desde el puente”

The Municipal Theatre of Torrevieja will host the performance “Panorama desde el puente”, based on Arthur Miller’s play “A View from the Bridge”. Miller set the action of this play in 1950s New York, portraying Italian immigrants who dreamed of living in the land of unlimited opportunities. It is a tragic love and family drama in which Eddie Carbone’s repressed attraction to his niece Catherine provokes jealousy, obsession and betrayal. The play shows how forbidden love and jealousy collide with social norms, leading to the fall of the main character and defining his tragic fate.

6 June. Musical show “The Essential of ABBA”

At the International Concert Hall of Torrevieja, the musical show “The Essential of ABBA”, dedicated to one of the most iconic groups in the history of pop music, will be presented. Thanks to live vocals, carefully thought-out staging and costumes that precisely replicate the originals, the show revives ABBA’s great hits – such as “Dancing Queen”, “Mamma Mia”, “Waterloo” and others, offering audiences a dynamic spectacle suitable for any audience.

From 19:45, spectators will have access to a cocktail dinner and will be able to enjoy a series of dishes prepared from seasonal ingredients and presented in a haute cuisine format. A table can be booked when purchasing tickets.

6–7 June. VI “Amateur Olympia” bodybuilding tournament

Emilio Martínez Productions will hold the sixth “Amateur Olympia” bodybuilding tournament at the VB Spaces concert venue, located in Alicante at Avinguda d´Elx, 186. This tournament has been considered the most important event in the world of fitness and bodybuilding in Europe since its founder Joe Weider began this legend in 1965. For the second year in a row, the Amateur Olympia series will take place in Alicante, where the best athletes will gather to obtain the coveted IFBB PRO LEAGUE professional license. In addition, leading companies in the industry will be able to present all their new products at the EXPO exhibition, which will be located in the VB Space complex at the same time as the competitions.

6–7 June. Concert in honor of Michael Jackson

At the Kinepolis cinema, located in Alicante at Plaza Mar, 2, the show “Michael Legend”, dedicated to the King of Pop Michael Jackson, will take place. With a repertoire including hits such as “Thriller”, “Billie Jean”, “Beat It” and “Smooth Criminal”, this show will be an unforgettable event for fans of all ages. Attention is paid to every detail: from choreography to stage design and visual effects – everything is designed to revive the magic of Michael Jackson like never before.

7 June. Zarzuela “Marina”

On the stage of the Municipal Theatre of Torrevieja, the zarzuela (a dramatic play including musical numbers) “Marina” will be presented. In the seaside town of Lloret de Mar, Marina and Jorge, who grew up like brother and sister, love each other, but both hide their love. Jorge, who has become the captain of a ship, goes on a journey, and during his absence the rude and cruel Pascual asks for Marina’s hand. She agrees, but wants him to ask for the consent of Jorge, whom she considers her only family. Upon his return, Jorge painfully agrees. A letter from Marina’s father and Pascual’s jealousy complicate the situation…
