A look at what interesting events await residents and visitors of Torrevieja, as well as nearby towns in the province of Alicante, at the end of this week.
July 1–3. Elx Jazz Festival 2026
As part of Elx Jazz Festival 2026, the rotunda of Elche Municipal Park will once again become the epicenter of live music: over three evenings, outstanding jazz performers from Spain and other countries will take the stage.
- July 1 – Tino Di Geraldo Quartet, Ariel Bringuez, Caramelo de Cuba, Peter Oteo.
- July 2 – Estrella Morente, Rafael Riqueni.
- July 3 – Raimundo Amador.
Tino Di Geraldo Quartet will present a musical journey through the worlds of flamenco and Latin jazz. Caramelo de Cuba, considered one of the best pianists in world Latin jazz, will also perform; as will Peter Oteo, one of the most sought-after session bassists on the national scene, and Ariel Bringuez, a Cuban saxophonist and winner of three Grammy Awards.
Estrella Morente, accompanied by guitarist Rafael Riqueni, will present the show «Estrella y Rafael» – a project bringing together two great representatives of contemporary flamenco as a tribute to the traditions and evolution of this genre.
The festival will conclude with the performance «From Pata Nagra to Raimundo Amador» – a journey through the artistic path of one of the greatest exponents of the fusion of flamenco, blues and rock in Spain.

July 2–5. Trip to Tabarca Island
Every day, from the ports of Torrevieja, Santa Pola or Alicante, visitors can take a boat to Tabarca Island – the largest and only inhabited island in the Valencian Community. Travelers can enjoy underwater views, discover rich marine biodiversity, try dishes in local restaurants and visit historical monuments. The boat has capacity for 250 passengers, including people with disabilities and pets, and passengers may bring food and drinks on board.
Departures – from 9:30 to 18:45, returns – from 10:30 to 19:30, ticket prices from Torrevieja – 27 euros for adults and 19 euros for children.
July 3. Concert by the «Casanovas» flute orchestra
The Municipal Theatre of Torrevieja will host a concert by the «Casanovas» flute orchestra, which will perform both pieces specially written for solo flute with accompaniment and transcriptions of well-known works from the Baroque and Classical periods. By number of participants, «Casanovas» is one of the largest flute orchestras in Spain; it includes outstanding teachers and soloists who play this instrument, as well as bass clarinet, bassoon, cello, double bass, percussion and piano.

July 3. Friday market in Torrevieja
Every Friday, the street market of Torrevieja operates in Parque Antonio Soria – one of the largest small-business centers in the Vega Baja region. On an area of 82,000 sq.m., up to 700 stalls and sales points offer food products, clothing, footwear, accessories and other goods at affordable prices compared with large supermarket chains. The Torrevieja market offers many conveniences – such as free parking, public toilets and a taxi rank. Every 20 minutes from 8:00 to 14:00, a bus runs that is accessible for people with reduced mobility or wheelchair users.
From Friday to Sunday, starting at 19:30, an amusement and games park for all ages is open here.
July 4. Dance performance «WoMan»
The experimental theatre El Faro, located in Torrevieja at Calle Antonio Ruiz Coves, 6, invites audiences to the dance performance «WoMan». In its boundless universe, oArt creates stories that reflect life itself. Its imagination gives rise to many feelings and states united by one eternal theme: the relationship between man and woman. Through dance, songs and stage images, different emotional states come to life: love and pain, passion and separation, joy and inner experiences. Before the audience passes a variety of characters and situations that tell of one thing: the human desire to be understood, loved and not feel lonely.

July 4. Mixed martial arts tournament «Kings of the ring»
The 11th mixed martial arts tournament «Kings of the ring» will take place at the VB Spaces concert venue, located in Alicante at Avinguda d´Elx, 186. The energy of the spectators, the atmosphere, the intense reaction on social networks and the high level of the fights have proven that the tournament continues to grow and is reaching a new level. This time there will be even more participants who did not get a place at the previous event, along with many other surprises.

July 4. Concert in honor of Queen
As part of the Candlelight concert series at the Archaeological Museum of Alicante (MARQ), Adre Quartet will perform a program dedicated to Queen. Their performance will include the following world-famous hits by the legendary British band fronted by Freddie Mercury: I Want to Break Free, We Will Rock You, Somebody to Love, Radio Ga Ga, Don’t Stop Me Now, Killer Queen, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Who Wants to Live Forever, Bohemian Rhapsody, Love of My Life, We Are the Champions, Another One Bites the Dust.

July 4. Habaneras at Playa del Cura
Playa del Cura beach in Torrevieja will once again become a magical stage by the sea, where visitors can enjoy a unique evening of traditional habanera songs. The musical groups UAnima and La Trova del Llano will present a repertoire full of feeling, history and maritime traditions. The natural setting of the beach, the sound of the waves and the Mediterranean breeze make this concert an unforgettable event for all lovers of choral music. Visitors may bring tables, chairs, food and drinks.
