27–30 August. Virtual tour Egipto. Un crucero por el Nilo
After the success of Luna and Titanic – projects that have already sold hundreds of thousands of tickets in cities such as Madrid, Los Angeles, Melbourne, Dubai, Rome and Paris – it is time for a new major adventure in virtual reality.
A journey through Ancient Egypt, with impressive scenery and surprising challenges, is available until 14 October at Virtual Zone Alicante, Plaza de los Luceros, 17, Floor 1.
First session: 9:00. Last session: 22:00. Tickets: 26 euros. Places for each session are limited.
27–30 August. Trip to Tabarca Island
Every day, visitors can take a boat from the ports of Torrevieja, Santa Pola or Alicante to Tabarca Island – the largest and only inhabited island in the Valencian Community.
Travellers can enjoy underwater views, discover rich marine biodiversity, try local restaurants and visit historic monuments.
The boat has capacity for 250 passengers, including people with reduced mobility and pets. Passengers may bring food and drinks on board.
Departures: from 9:30 to 18:45. Returns: from 10:30 to 19:30. Tickets from Torrevieja: 27 euros for adults and 19 euros for children.
28 August. Friday market in Torrevieja
Every Friday, Parque Antonio Soria hosts Torrevieja’s street market – one of the largest small-business hubs in the Vega Baja area.
Across an area of 82,000 m², there are up to 700 stalls selling food, clothing, shoes, accessories and other goods at prices that are often lower than in large supermarket chains.
The Torrevieja market offers many facilities, including free parking, public toilets and a taxi rank. Every 20 minutes from 8:00 to 14:00, there is an accessible bus service for people with reduced mobility or wheelchair users.
From Friday to Sunday, starting at 19:30, the amusement and games area is open for all ages.
28 August. Jah Khalib concert
VB Spaces, located in Alicante at Avinguda d’Elx, 186, will host the long-awaited performance by popular Kazakh singer and composer Jah Khalib.
The artist’s real name is Bakhtiyar Mammadov, and he has long won the hearts of millions of listeners with his unique style and distinctive manner of performance.
Jah Khalib, born on 29 September 1993 in Almaty, is known for energetic compositions that organically combine hip-hop, soul and R&B with Eastern motifs.
His music stands out for its unique sound and heartfelt lyrics about love, life and spiritual searching.

29 August. Carnaval Ciudad de Torrevieja Festival
The cultural association Los Sangochaos from Torrevieja is organising the eighth edition of Carnaval Ciudad de Torrevieja, offering a unique opportunity to enjoy performances by some of the best musical and dance groups from the Cádiz Carnival.
For fans of the Cádiz Carnival, this is an outstanding chance to appreciate the talent of magnificent groups that will recreate the magical atmosphere of the Gran Teatro Falla.

29 August. Hombres G concert
The Spanish band Hombres G will perform at Plaza de Toros in Alicante, presenting some of their greatest hits, which have left a mark on Spanish-language pop-rock for several generations.
The programme includes songs such as Devuélveme a mi chica, Venezia, Marta tiene un marcapasos, Temblando and Visite nuestro bar.
Hombres G, formed in Madrid in 1982 and led by David Summers, has established itself as one of the most successful and influential bands in Spanish pop music.
With more than four decades of creative activity behind them, the band continues to fill venues and bring together thousands of fans of different ages.
