From June 26 to 28, 2026, Oviedo will once again become one of Asturias’ key music venues as the seventh edition of the independent music festival VESU takes place. The first two days of concerts will be held in the regional capital, while the final program will move to Bueño, in the municipality of Ribera de Arriba.

The festival is supported by the Municipal Culture Foundation of Oviedo City Council and the municipality of Ribera de Arriba. For the city, it is not only a cultural event but also an extra reason to attract visitors to the historic center, where live music, urban life and interest in property in Oviedo come together.

Where VESU 2026 will take place

The main Friday and Saturday venue will be Espacio FMC in the El Campillín area, on the grounds of the Santo Domingo – Dominicos educational foundation. The organizers stress that the venue was chosen deliberately: it has cultural value and helps connect a contemporary music program with Oviedo’s architectural heritage.

On Sunday, the festival will move to the Central Artística de Bueño. The closing day will be held in the VESU en La Ribera format and will offer a more relaxed daytime atmosphere.

Who will perform at the festival

The line-up includes both established names from the independent scene and new projects. The participants include:

  • María Arnal with AMA – her only concert in Asturias;
  • Depresión Sonora;
  • Dora Band – a new stage for the project by Pimp Flaco and Kinder Malo;
  • Puño Dragón;
  • Mujeres;
  • Sobrezero;
  • Las Petunias;
  • DenisDenis;
  • Snake Eyes;
  • Begut;
  • Billy Boom Band.

Tickets for the festival are already available through the official sales channel, with third-phase passes priced at 50 euros plus service fees.

The growth of events like this strengthens Oviedo’s image as a city with an active cultural agenda. For those considering life or investment in northern Spain, it is another reason to look at the region and explore property for sale in Spain.
