In Spain there is a list of professions whose diplomas must be homologated (officially recognized). Otherwise, professionals are prohibited from practicing. In some cases, recognition may not be required (e.g., if the education was obtained in a country that has an agreement on mutual recognition with Spain). We recommend checking the need for diploma homologation in each specific case.
