Entrepreneur visa in Spain: Processing

If you are outside of Spain, you will apply for the residence visa for entrepreneurs at the Spanish consulate in the country of residence.

On the other hand, if you are legally in Spain or have an entrepreneur visa, you will apply for a residence permit for entrepreneurs at the Unit for Large Companies and Strategic Groups (UGE-CE).

The visa and authorization are valid to work and reside throughout the national territory, including family members if they meet the age stipulated in labor regulations. In the case of visas, the term is usually 10 days; while in the case of authorizations it is approximately 30 days.

This residence authorization is granted for 3 years (instead of one like most residences under the general immigration law). The renewal consists of the same requirements as at the time of the initial application.

The only difference is that there has been enough time to evaluate your company’s performance, so it will be important to justify and demonstrate its performance and an equally viable future projection.
