Muchamiel: affordable homes in the countryside, on the Costa Blanca North

Muchamiel is a city and municipality on the Costa Blanca North, about 12 km from Alicante, and 6 km from the coast and the beautiful Muchavista beach in El Campello.
As for the name of the city, there is a legend that one day, a cart loaded with beautiful tomatoes overturned near the town on its way to the market. The tomatoes turned out to be so sweet, that the locals who tried them said they were “honey”. From there comes the name of the municipality – Muchamiel (in Valencian – Mutxamel). However, this version is not official.

Muchamiel has a Mediterranean climate, with mild winters and no snow, and hot summers. Muchamiel is built primarily with low-rise housing, and the supply of houses here is much wider than the supply of flats. The main advantage of Muchamiel is the low price of housing.
