La Finca Golf, in the municipality of Algorfa, ranked 13th among Spain’s top golf courses in the ranking compiled by specialist publication Golf Digest. It has held this position for the second consecutive edition and remains the highest-ranked course in Alicante province.
The recognition comes during a busy tournament season. In July and August, La Finca Golf and Villamartín Golf hosted four qualifying rounds of the VII Circuito La Finca Resort. The competition brought together 402 players and recorded 751 rounds in total.
The tournament final takes place in December
The final stage will be held at La Finca Golf on 12 and 13 December. A total of 45 players will compete over 36 holes across two days.
Players qualified through their results in the various categories during the qualifying rounds. Additional places are awarded through the Consistency Prize, for golfers who took part in all four rounds but did not qualify based on their results.
