Pic Tort street in Xàbia (Jávea) is the most expensive street in the Valencian Community to buy a property, as buying one in the area can reach an average price of 3,080,409 euros, according to data provided by the real estate marketplace Idealista.

The study discloses the ten streets in Spain with the highest prices for buying a home and specifies that the most exclusive area of the country is located on the island of Mallorca. This is Calle Sant Carles, in the municipality of Calvià, where the owners are asking an average of 7,043,750 euros from anyone who wants to buy one of their sophisticated homes.

The second most expensive in this ranking comprises the entire Coto Zagaleta urbanisation, located in the Malaga town of Benahavís. This exceptional area of the Costa del Sol comes close to the top spot as it has an average price of 7,042,462 euros, a higher value than its neighbouring Calle Mozart, in Marbella, which is in third place with 5,932,489 euros.

This is followed by Urbanización Cascada de Camoján, also in Marbella, whose owners are asking an average of 5,444,000 euros for their properties. It is followed by two representatives of the Community of Madrid: Paseo de los Lagos in Pozuelo de Alarcón, better known as ‘La Finca’, with an average of 5,248,039 euros and Paseo del Conde de los Gaitanes, in the urbanisation of La Moraleja, with 4,972,656 euros.

The ranking ends (all above 4.5 million euros) with Calle Cañete, in Marbella, where they ask an average of 4,883,602 euros; Calle del Camino Ancho, in La Moraleja, where those who want to buy one of its luxurious villas will pay 4,751,654 euros; the Sierra Blanca urbanisation, in Marbella, with an average of 4,625,158 euros; and Vía Cornisa in Calvià, with an average price of 4,608,732 euros.

Likewise, Idealista´s study points out another five autonomous regions with streets where the average value exceeds one million euros. The first place goes to Catalonia (4,194,667 euros), followed by the Valencian Community (3,080,409 euros), the Canary Islands (2,810,231 euros), the Basque Country (1,474,200 euros) and Cantabria (1,321,333 euros).

On the other hand, the study points out that the region where the cheapest flats can be purchased is Castilla-La Mancha, where in its most expensive street the average price of homes is 318,528 euros, followed by Extremadura (353,168 euros) and Navarre (467,813 euros).
