Stroll through the old town of Benidorm
Strolling through the streets of the historic centre of Benidorm is a pleasant and relaxing activity. The historic centre is a traditional place for certain leisure activities, called by the Spaniards as “ir de copas”. This expression means moving from one bar to another, drinking in each of them. Most of the bars and pubs that are ideal for these purposes, are located on Calle dels Gats, located in the centre of Benidorm, and its adjacent alleys. The street leads to the Plaza del Castillo, a beautiful place with stunning views: here is the most famous viewpoint in Benidorm: el Balcón del Mediterráneo. On the way from the centre to the viewpoint, you will see the Church of San Jaime and Santa Ana, built in 1780.
