The coastline of the Valencian Community — Costa Blanca and Costa de Valencia — is one of the best places for real estate investment abroad. Economic growth, tourism, and foreign investment are driving the region’s development, employment, and business, increasing demand for both short- and long-term rentals, and pushing housing prices upward.
Current purchase prices in Spain’s key regions are as follows: Madrid — around €5,677/m² in the city (regional average — €4,343/m²), Catalonia — €2,647/m², Balearic Islands — €5,090/m². For comparison, in the Valencian Community the average price per square meter is €2,321, and in Murcia — €1,555/m².
Along the coastal provinces, on the Costa Blanca (Alicante province) the average price is about €2,620/m², while in the province of Valencia it is €1,848/m². On the Costa Cálida, in La Manga del Mar Menor, the figure is around €2,153/m².
A special mention goes to Torrevieja: the city remains popular among foreign investors, with an average listing price of about €2,282/m². The “buy undervalued apartments + rent at market rate” model is still found and can deliver faster returns thanks to high rental demand, although results depend on location, property condition, and management.
